Kate Ivey, MA, LPC, CACII and Lauren Woosley, MA, LPC will be presenting on Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.

Their presentation will cover statistics and risk factors for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, screening tools, and case examples that cover infertility, perinatal anxiety, postpartum depression and psychosis, miscarriage and infant loss. They will discuss considerations for providers working with any mother and/or fathers/partners of growing families and the importance of early intervention.

Lauren has been in a private practice setting for 5 years. In addition to private practice, she has worked at All Health Network Acute Treatment Unit and Rocky Mountain Crisis Partners answering calls for the Colorado Crisis Line and the National Suicide Hotline. She specializes in maternal mental health and infertility.

Kate has over 10 years of experience working with crisis response teams, and a therapist and consultant in the Cherry Creek School district.  In private practice she has turned her focus to working with new moms as she is trained as a postpartum doula and specializes in postpartum/perinatal mood disorders, infant loss, and birth trauma.
